1. Check whether there are cracks on the double-sided tape
When the double-sided adhesive tape is slitted, if the slitting tool is not adjusted properly or the blade is not sharp enough, cracks will appear on the facial paper or backing paper of the double-sided adhesive tape, and the fibers pulled out from the cracks will be stuck by adhesive. Cracks may occur continuously or randomly, and may appear on one side or both sides of the reel double-sided tape. Therefore, before the double-sided tape is machined, it is necessary to carefully check whether there are small cracks on its backing paper and face paper.
Then, take a piece of sample paper that has passed the above inspection, peel it off the backing paper and check again whether there are cracks in the backing paper and backing paper, because cracks are sometimes very small and can only be found after separating the backing paper and the face paper.
2. Check whether there are burrs in the double-sided tape
The edge of double-sided tape of reel is smooth and undamaged, which is the basis of ensuring the quality of double-sided tape. Therefore, before processing, we must carefully check whether there are burrs on the cutting edge of double-sided tape of reel, whether it is damaged due to improper storage and transportation, and roll the double-sided tape of reel for 4-5 turns, and carefully check its cutting edge. Following the inspection method of the appearance of double-sided tape mentioned above, today we will add some knowledge about this aspect.
3. Check whether the edges of the double-sided tape are adhered and whether the backing paper is missing silicon
Adhesion on the edge of double-sided adhesive tape or leakage of silicone oil in some areas on the backing paper will cause the surface paper to break during waste discharge and can not be produced normally. Therefore, before processing, we should take a section of self-adhesive material about 1 meter long and peel it off by hand to see if there are any parts that can't be peeled off smoothly or consistently at the edge or other parts. Usually, the edge adhesion of facial paper and backing paper occurs on a slitting roll of self-adhesive material coated in the whole roll, and generally only occurs at the outer layer of 7 meters to 10 meters. Therefore, when there is adhesion on the edge of double-sided adhesive tape in the slitting roll, don't immediately assert that the whole roll of paper has this problem.
In addition, it should be noted that the force used to peel off light tissue paper (such as 60g/m2 and 80g/m2 tissue paper) is greater than that used to peel off heavy tissue paper, and the lighter the tissue paper, the tighter the hand feeling when peeling off. Also because of this, sometimes according to the customer requirements of the shape to die-cut the customer's choice of double-sided tape, can not be completed at the conventional processing speed.
4. Check whether the slitting end face of the double-sided tape of the drum is straight and whether the rewinding tightness is consistent
If the drum double-sided tape slitting end face is not uniform, not only will affect the processing of registration, but also due to the change of die-cutting position and waste discharge difficulties; Inconsistent tightness during rewinding will cause the change of paper force during printing, and uneven tension will also cause printing quality problems.
